IC-BIS 2025 Concludes with Resounding Success! 🌍
From April 11 to 13, 2025, the 4th International Conference on Biomedical and Intelligent Systems (IC-BIS 2025) was successfully held in the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. This year’s conference adopted a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation, and attracted nearly 100 experts, scholars, and researchers from around the world to come together to discuss the cutting-edge technologies and research advancements in the fields of biomedical and intelligent systems. The conference not only provided attendees with a high-level academic exchange platform but also promoted in-depth collaboration among all parties in the relevant fields.
The conference was grandly opened on April 11. At the opening ceremony, three influential experts in the field of biomedical and intelligent systems were invited to deliver speeches: Professor J. M. Corchado, President of the University of Salamanca, Spain; Professor Edmond Hairizi, President of the University of Business and Technology, Kosovo; and Professor Pier Paolo Piccaluga, Conference Chair and Professor at the University of Bologna. In their addresses, the three experts shared the latest research achievements and future development trends in their respective fields. They highlighted the importance of integrating biomedical and intelligent systems and emphasized the necessity of interdisciplinary collaboration to advance scientific progress. Their speeches inspired the attendees and fostered a strong academic atmosphere.
On April 12, the conference featured keynote speeches from renowned scholars from various countries. These presentations provided in-depth analysis and insights on the themes of "Augmented Intelligence in Healthcare: Transformative Application Cases," "Lymphoma Classification," and "Cell Therapy in Tumor Hematology." Each speaker showcased their research progress through extensive data and case studies, sparking thoughtful reflections and lively discussions among the attendees.
Meanwhile, the conference also specially arranged a hybrid online and offline session for young researchers from both domestic and international backgrounds, providing 15 young scholars with valuable opportunities to showcase their research achievements and promote in-depth exchanges among emerging researchers. During the session, the young researchers presented their innovative ideas and findings and actively engaged with on-site experts, receiving valuable feedback and suggestions.
